Setting regular working hours
Open a practitioner's profile and go to Availability. Turn on each day they work, and set their start and end time for that day.
Adding a break
Add a break — a lunch break, for example — to a working day, so it's shown as unavailable time within their otherwise working hours.
Changing hours from a future date
Working hours reflect the practitioner's current schedule as soon as you save — there's no way to queue up a change for later. If new hours only start in a few weeks, leave the current schedule as it is and instead block out the hours they won't be working as recurring unavailable time starting from that date. Update the actual weekly schedule once the change has taken effect.
What availability actually controls
Working hours and breaks are shown as shaded regions on the calendar so staff can see when a practitioner is normally working at a glance. On its own, this is a visual guide, not a hard restriction — an appointment can still be booked outside these hours from the calendar if genuinely needed.
