Making the calendar fit your day

The calendar's display settings live in your general settings, under Calendar. A few small adjustments here make a real difference to how comfortable the calendar is to use every day.

Set your visible hours

If your clinic runs 9 to 5, there's no reason to scroll past midnight to see it. Set the default visible hours to match your actual opening times, so the calendar opens on the useful part of the day.

Choose your time slot size

Set how finely the calendar is divided — a smaller slot size gives more precise control over start times, while a larger one keeps the calendar simpler to scan for clinics that book on round intervals.

Weekends and time format

Turn weekends on if your clinic operates Saturdays or Sundays, and switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time depending on what your team is used to reading.

Colour by appointment type

Each appointment type has its own calendar colour, set when you create or edit it. Choosing colours that are easy to tell apart at a glance makes a busy calendar much faster to read.
