Booking an appointment

Select an empty slot on the calendar, or choose New Appointment, to open the booking form. You'll fill in the patient, practitioner, and appointment type, and ClinyPal takes care of placing it correctly on the schedule.

Choose the patient and appointment type

Search for the patient, then choose the appointment type and practitioner. If the appointment type allows more than one patient, the form switches to let you add several people to the same slot.

If the patient has an open case, you can link the appointment to it from the optional case field.

Set the date and time

Pick the date and the start and end time. If you selected a slot directly on the calendar, these are already filled in for you.

Make it a repeating appointment

If the patient needs a standing appointment, choose how often it should repeat and set a repeat-until date. ClinyPal creates every occurrence in the series for you.

Editing one occurrence Once a series exists, its repeat settings live on the original appointment. An individual occurrence can still be moved or edited on its own without changing the rest of the series.

Finish and save

Add a note if there's something the practitioner should know before the visit, then save. The appointment appears on the calendar immediately, ready to be checked in, rescheduled, or cancelled if plans change.
