What this guide helps you do

The Invoices page provides a clinic-wide list. Open an invoice to review it without leaving the list, then follow its status, item totals, payment history, or recorded changes.

Find the invoice

Choose a location

Select the location that issued the invoice.

Search

Enter part of the patient name or invoice number in Search patient or #.

Open a result

Use the patient, number, date, amount, and status shown in the row to choose the correct invoice.

Page through older results

Use Previous and Next when necessary.

Review the invoice

  • Status and Overdue appear at the top beside the invoice number.
  • Issued and due dates explain timing.
  • Billed From and Billed To show the clinic and recipient information.
  • Case information appears when one is linked.
  • Line items show type, description, quantity, price, discount, tax, and line total.
  • Subtotal, tax, promotions, write-off, grand total, and payment history explain the balance.

Review saved changes

Choose View change history

The history loads when first opened.

Read each change

The field name, previous value, new value, date and time, and person who changed it appear when available.

Return to the invoice

Choose Close in the history area. A message states when no tracked changes exist.

Things worth knowing

  • The patient’s Billing area is often faster when you are already inside the correct record.
  • A status tells you the financial state; it does not replace reviewing the amounts and payment history.
