Setting up billable services
Billable services are the treatments and services you charge patients for — the list you pick from every time you create an invoice. Setting them up properly once means billing is quick and consistent afterwards.
Add a service
Go to your settings and open Billable services, then choose Add. Name the service and, if it's useful for your catalogue, group it under a category such as Consultations or Treatments.
Set the price and tax
Enter the base price. If the figure you've entered already includes tax, turn on Price includes tax; otherwise choose the tax rate to apply on top when the service is billed.
The service list shows both the tax-exclusive and tax-inclusive price, so you can check the figure patients will actually be charged.
Add concession prices, if you offer them
If your clinic uses concession types, this is also where you set a concession price for this specific service.
Understand what the service actually costs you
Select the cost icon next to a saved service to see its real margin, based on the products it actually uses. See estimate the cost of a service for the full walkthrough.
Retiring a service
Archive a service you no longer offer instead of deleting it. It disappears from new invoices while staying intact on every past invoice that used it.
