When this matters
If a patient lives in a different time zone from your clinic — common with telehealth — setting their time zone means the time shown in their reminders, confirmations, and online booking reflects what they'll actually see on their own clock, not yours.
Set it on their details
On the patient's details, set their time zone. If it's left unset, times are shown in your clinic's own time zone by default.

Where it applies
Once set, the patient's own time zone is used in their appointment reminders and confirmations, so a patient a few hours away isn't left converting the time themselves and risking a mistake.
If a reminder shows the wrong time
Check the patient's time zone is actually set, and set correctly — an unset or wrong time zone is almost always the cause of a reminder showing an unexpected time.
