Why a change history matters

Details change, and sometimes you need to know exactly what a field used to say — a corrected date of birth, an old address, a contact detail someone updated last week. Rather than guessing, ClinyPal keeps a record.

Viewing it

On a patient's details, select the Last edited by line above the record to open the full change history.

Each entry shows the field that changed, its old and new value, who made the change, and exactly when.

When this is useful

• Confirming who updated a detail before a decision was made based on it.
• Checking whether an incorrect value was ever corrected.
• Reviewing access and edits as part of your clinic's own compliance checks, alongside the audit log.
