Understanding your patient reports
These reports focus on your patient base as a whole — who's arriving, who's drifting away, and who needs a nudge to come back.
| Report | What it answers |
|---|---|
| New patients by source | Where your new patients are actually coming from. |
| Lapsed patients | Who hasn't had a recent visit. |
| Recalls due | Who's due for a recall, and when. |
| Retention cohorts | How well you're retaining patients over time. |
| Upcoming birthdays | Whose birthday is coming up this period. |
Where to start
If marketing spend is a live question, start with New patients by source — it only works as well as your referral sources are actually being assigned. To bring people back, run Lapsed patients and Recalls due together.
Reading and filtering these reports
Most can be filtered by date range and location; Lapsed patients uses a threshold preset instead, so you can choose how long is too long since a visit. See how to read a report for the shared controls.
