What contacts are for

Contacts are the people outside your clinic you deal with regularly — referring doctors, specialists, other providers — kept separate from your patient list since they're not patients themselves.

Add a contact

Go to Contacts and add a new one. Choose a contact type, enter their name and, if relevant, the company they're associated with.

Add their email, phone number, and address so they're ready to use wherever you need to reach them.

Using a contact

A saved contact can be linked as a patient's referring doctor, and can be addressed directly on a letter — useful for sending a referral report without adding them as a patient.
