Storing documents against a patient

Anything you'd otherwise print or file away — a referral letter, lab results, a scan — can live directly on the patient's record instead, organised by category so it's easy to find again.

Upload a document

Open the patient's Documents and choose Upload. Add a description, and link it to a case if it belongs to a specific episode of care.

Filter by category

Documents are automatically grouped into categories — images, PDFs, medical imaging, lab results, referrals, telehealth recordings, and everything else — so you can filter straight to what you need instead of scrolling the whole list.

Viewing medical imaging

Standard medical imaging files open in a built-in viewer, so you can look through a scan directly in the patient's record without needing separate imaging software. Select an imaging document from the list to open it.

Downloading or removing a document

Select Download on any document to save a copy. Archive one you no longer need visible instead of leaving it cluttering the current view; it stays part of the patient's history.
