Booking your appointment
Booking an appointment online only takes a few minutes, and you can do it at whatever pace feels comfortable — there's no rush, and nothing is finalized until you reach the confirmation screen at the end. If you've ever found booking pages confusing or worried about clicking the wrong thing, this one is designed so that's hard to do: each step only shows you what's actually available, so you can't accidentally pick a time that's already taken or a practitioner who isn't free.
This guide walks through the whole flow from start to finish, in the order you'll actually see it, so you know exactly what's coming next at every point.
- How to choose a location, service, and practitioner
- How to pick a date and time that works for you, in your own time zone
- What information you'll be asked to enter, and why
- How payment works, if your clinic requires it
- What your confirmation looks like
- What to do if something goes wrong during payment
Choosing where and what
If your clinic has more than one location, you'll see them laid out as a simple grid of cards — just pick whichever is most convenient for you. If your clinic only has a single location, this step is skipped automatically and you'll move straight on to the next one, so don't worry if you never see a location screen at all.
Next, you'll choose the type of appointment you need. If your clinic has chosen to show it, you'll also see roughly how long the visit takes and what it costs, right there on the list, so there are no surprises later when you're trying to plan around it.
Choosing your practitioner
You'll see a list of practitioners available for the service and location you picked. Choose whoever you'd like to see, or if you don't have a preference, simply pick whoever has availability that suits your schedule best — either way is completely fine.
Picking a date and time
An inline calendar shows you which dates are available to book — anything outside your clinic's schedule simply won't be selectable, so you don't need to guess. Once you pick a date, the available time slots for that day appear below it. Any times that are already taken are grayed out and can't be clicked, which means you'll only ever be able to choose a slot that's genuinely free — there's no risk of a booking conflict on your end.
Telling us a little about you
Next, you'll enter a few details so the clinic knows who's coming in. None of this takes long, and most of it is exactly what you'd expect from any appointment booking.
- Your name.
- Your email and/or phone number — you only need to provide at least one, whichever is easiest for you to be reached on.
- Your address, but only if your clinic has specifically asked for it.
- A checkbox to agree to the clinic's terms of use and privacy policy.
- A quick "I'm not a robot" check, just to confirm a real person is booking the appointment rather than automated software.
Payment, if your clinic requires it
Some clinics ask for payment at the time of booking — usually to secure the slot — and others don't ask for anything upfront at all. If yours does, you'll see this step; otherwise, you'll skip straight to your confirmation and this section won't apply to you.
Choose how much to pay
Depending on what your clinic offers, you may be able to choose between paying a smaller deposit now to hold your slot, or paying the full amount upfront.
Choose a payment method
If your clinic offers more than one payment method, pick whichever suits you.
Enter your card details
Fill in your card information to complete the payment. This part is handled securely, the same as any trusted online payment form.
Wait for processing
You'll briefly see a "processing" screen while your payment goes through — this usually only takes a moment, so there's no need to refresh or close the tab.
Your confirmation
Once everything's done, you'll see a checkmark screen confirming your appointment, along with a summary of what you booked and a reference number. It's a good idea to keep that reference number somewhere handy — a note on your phone, a screenshot, whatever's easiest for you — in case you ever need to contact the clinic about your booking later.
If something doesn't go as expected
Most bookings go through without a hitch, but it's worth knowing what to do in the rare case something looks off, especially around payment.
