Drawing on a chart
Wherever a body chart field appears — on a treatment note or custom field — you can draw directly on the diagram to mark exactly where something is, rather than describing it in words alone.
If more than one chart has been uploaded, choose which one to start from — a front view, a back view, or whatever your clinic has set up — before you begin marking it up.
Choose a colour and draw
Pick a colour from the palette — useful for distinguishing different findings, like pain in one colour and swelling in another — then draw directly on the chart with your mouse or finger.
Add a text label
Select the text tool to add a short label next to a marking, and drag it into position if you need to move it out of the way.
Zoom, undo, and clear
- Zoom and pan to work on a specific area more precisely.
- Undo or redo if a mark goes wrong.
- Clear the chart to start over completely, if needed.
Your markings are saved with the record
What you draw is saved as part of the note or field it belongs to, alongside the original chart image, so it stays exactly as you left it when the record is reopened later.
