Exporting your data

Your clinic's data belongs to you. Go to Export data to take a copy of any part of it — patients, appointments, invoices, payments, expenses, products, services, cases, body charts, or patient files.

Choose what to export

Select the type of data, the location it belongs to, and a date range. Each data type exports the fields relevant to it — patient exports include contact and identity details, invoice exports include status and totals, and so on.

Choose a format

For most data, choose CSV for a spreadsheet you can open anywhere. If you're sending clinical data to another system, ClinyPal also supports HL7 v2 and FHIR, two standard healthcare data formats that other clinical systems can read directly.

HL7 and FHIR are for system-to-system transfers Use these if you're migrating to or exchanging data with another clinical system that expects a healthcare-standard format. For a simple spreadsheet, CSV is what you want.

Body charts and patient files export as their original files rather than a spreadsheet, since they aren't tabular data.
