What SMS Message Templates is for

The SMS Message Templates page holds reusable SMS templates that you send manually — for example, a quick reusable message you send from a patient record when the situation calls for it. This is different from the automated templates used for appointment confirmations, cancellations, reminders, and follow-ups, which send on their own when the matching event happens.

If you're looking for AI-assisted drafting, that's available on the automated appointment message templates and in the Broadcasts Compose wizard, not here.
