A violet Generate with AI button, marked with a sparkle icon, appears next to certain text fields in ClinyPal. Clicking it drafts the text automatically, so you're editing a starting point instead of writing from a blank field.
What you'll learn
Every place the Generate with AI button appears
Where it's specifically not available, including the parts of appointment templates it's missing from
What happens while it's generating, and if it fails
Why you should always review AI-drafted text before sending it
An SMS reminder template editor with the violet Generate with AI button next to the message body field, shown mid-generation with "Generating..." state.
Using it
1
Open a supported editor
Go to an SMS template, the Broadcasts compose flow, or an invoice notice email in Invoice Settings.
2
Click Generate with AI
The button sits next to the relevant text field and shows "Generating..." while it works.
3
Review the draft
Read through the generated text carefully before doing anything else with it.
4
Edit as needed
Adjust wording, tone, or details to match your clinic before saving or sending.
Always review before sending AI-drafted text is a starting point, not a final message. Always read it over before saving a template or sending a broadcast — check names, dates, and any clinic-specific details.
Silent no-op on failure If generation fails, nothing changes — your field stays exactly as it was, with no error banner. You can simply try clicking Generate with AI again.
Where it appears
SMS templates for appointment confirmations, cancellations, reminders, and follow-ups.
The Broadcasts compose flow — email subject, email body, and SMS body, using your selected audience as context for the draft.
All four invoice notice emails in Invoice Settings: paid, outstanding, credit note, and write-off.
Where it's not available
The button isn't available everywhere text is edited. In particular, for the four appointment-lifecycle templates (confirmation, cancellation, reminder, follow-up), Generate with AI only appears on the SMS side — the email version of each of those same four templates does not have it.
It's only wired up for the SMS side of the four appointment-lifecycle templates (confirmation, cancellation, reminder, follow-up). The email versions of those same templates need to be written manually.
No. It only drafts the text into the field. You still review, edit if needed, and save or send it yourself.
That's the expected failure behavior — if generation fails, the field is left unchanged with no error message. Try clicking it again.
There's currently no customer-facing toggle for this — it's controlled by ClinyPal's backend configuration.
