Blocking out unavailable time
Unavailable time keeps a practitioner's calendar honest — leave, a lunch break, training, or anything else that shouldn't be booked over. Once it's blocked, that time simply won't be offered when booking an appointment.
Add a block
Select an empty area on the calendar and choose to add unavailable time. Pick the practitioner and the type of block — this is what shows on the calendar so everyone can see why the time is unavailable.
Choose one-off or recurring
Leave it as One-time for a single block, or choose Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly, or Monthly for something that repeats, like a standing lunch break or a regular training session. A recurring block asks for an end date so it doesn't run forever by accident.
Set the time range for the block and save. It appears on the calendar immediately, and any recurring occurrences are created for the whole date range.
Editing or removing a block
Open the block to change its time or reason. For a recurring block, you can delete just the occurrence you're viewing, or delete the whole series if it's no longer needed.
