Booking a group appointment

Group appointments let several patients share one slot — a class, a group session, anything run for more than one person at a time. Whether an appointment type allows this is set once in its settings, then every booking of that type follows the same rule.

Start the booking

Choose New Appointment and select an appointment type that allows a group. The form switches automatically, showing a patient list instead of a single patient field, up to the number this appointment type allows.

Add each patient

Search for and add each patient joining the session, up to the capacity shown at the top of the list. Set the date, time, and practitioner once — they apply to everyone in the group.

Changing capacity for a type

If a group session needs more or fewer spots, adjust the capacity on the appointment type itself, under Mode & capacity — every future booking of that type will reflect the new limit.
