The Clinic Payment Methods page (/settings/saved-payments) manages your clinic's own card on file with ClinyPal. This is not a patient-facing payment processor — it's the card used to pay for your clinic's account.
One card, two uses The card you save here is used for both your clinic's ClinyPal subscription billing and SMS credit top-ups. It's a single unified card on file, not separate cards for each feature.

Empty state and card list
If your clinic hasn't saved a card yet, the page shows an empty state with an Add your first card call to action. Once at least one card is saved, the page instead shows a list of saved cards.

The Clinic Payment Methods card list, showing saved cards with a Default badge on one card and a Set default button on the others.
Default badge and Set default button A Default badge appears only on the card currently used for billing. The Set default button is hidden on that same card — it only shows on the other cards, since a card that's already the default has nothing to set.
Expired cards are flagged If a card's expiry date has passed, it shows an Expired badge and its expiry date is displayed in red. An expired card can't be used to bill your subscription or SMS top-ups, so replace or set a different default before it lapses.
Adding a card
Adding a card uses a 2-step modal: a Form step where you enter card details, and a Success step confirming it was saved. The header, footer, and body all change between the two steps.
1
Open the add-card modal
Click Add your first card if the list is empty, or Add card from the card list.
2
Enter card details (Form step)
Fill in your card details using the embedded Stripe card element.
3
Submit the card
Click the submit action in the modal footer to save the card.
4
Confirmation (Success step)
The modal switches to its Success step, confirming the card was saved. Close the modal to return to the card list, where the new card now appears.

Transaction history
Below the card list, a transaction history section shows past charges to your clinic's card, covering both subscription billing and SMS credit top-ups.
Load more only appears when there's more to load The Load more button under the transaction history list only appears if additional history exists beyond what's currently shown. If your clinic's history is short, you won't see it.
